Wellness Risk, What Does It Mean?


Wellness Risk is a concept that does not mean one is sick. What it means is that one might become sick in the near future, or the distant future.

Wellness Risk is a number that has predictability. It predicts that a person can do more to keep themselves WELL and learn chronic disease prevention strategies.

Wellness is all about how we behave and how we think. Science has shed quite an amount of new knowledge on this topic and has quite an amount of old knowledge. Scientists have been quietly researching this science for many decades. At Wellness Risk Management we have collected that science and put it together into a concept that self-help is an important part of the human experience.

Questions a lot of people have about Wellness abound.

    • Do I really need it?

We end up at the question "Why is Wellness so difficult when there is so much science on it?"

A simple count of your behaviours and your thinking patterns, allows an average to be generated. That average has a predictive value. Knowing your Wellness Risk numbers, (there are 38 of them), may be interesting and fun to learn, however, Wellness Risk Management takes it a step further by providing WORKSHOPS to help people improve their Wellness Risk scores. Those workshops are where the Management part comes into play.

What Kind of Diseases Are Reduced with Wellness Risk Management?

All chronic diseases are reduced with multidimensional Wellness strategies because of the multidimensional nature of those strategies. Acute diseases are reduced, again because of the multidimensional nature of those strategies.

All organs and systems in the body benefit by reducing Wellness Risk. When the body moves toward optimal health by applying those optimal health secrets which science has discovered, then all parts of the body benefit. We live longer and happier due to less suffering from disease. We perform better at work, better at our recreation pursuits, and better at our interrelationship pursuits too.
